CDN speed test

Re-downloads this page's full-resolution photos, skipping the browser cache, and times each one. The first fetch comes from the origin in Korea (MISS, slow); after that the nearest CDN edge answers (HIT, fast).

Cache header check

Requests key URLs, skipping the browser cache, and shows the CDN cache status. Run it twice to see MISS turn into HIT.

Notes

  • x-cache-status: HIT = served by the edge cache, MISS/EXPIRED = went to the origin
  • An unchanged X-Origin-Hit-Count means the origin was not asked
  • Each edge node has its own cache, so the first request on another node is a MISS
  • /api/cart always goes to the origin (private, no-store)
